DESCRIPTION:Step back in time at this Swindon Railway Village cottage where you can discover Victorian traditions. \nWitness the sights sounds and smells of local community life and learn how a Great Western Railway worker would have lived with their family c.1900. \nWe are open regularly to the public and host a variety of seasonal and themed events for whole family to enjoy. \nOur weekly opening offers you the chance to explore the Museum and collection: A Victorian family home set in 1901. \nMeet our experienced volunteers and learn about the social history of our beloved Railway Town and its early development. \nFREE ENTRY to the Museum (Donations help a long way) \nWe also offer FREE GUIDED WALKS on most Wednesdays\, please book here: https://allevents.by/RVWT \nPlease note: \nThere are no toilet facilities on site. Please no food or drink is allowed in the Museum.
